Operation: Facility Schematic
TFNation 2016 will soon be upon us. As this is our first event, we thought it would be helpful to give you the lay of the land. Sentinel Magnus has kindly provided this facility schematic from the Autobots’ data archives to share with you all.
Important – those who are familiar with this base of operations from previous conventions should pay extra attention to our signage. Do not fall into the Decepticon trap of trying to use doors you may have used in the past… this is a world transformed.
If you are arriving via car, bike or some other road transportation device, please use the main entrance indicated by the green circle. If you are arriving via train, plane or walking via the NEC, you can enter the facility via the area marked by the green square and make your way to reception through the lower corridor.
The TFNation welcome desk shall be situated in the main reception on Friday for registration and the sale of exclusive merchandise. Hotel check-in is on the right of the welcome desk and the Hilton staff will be only too happy to help you out. The main bar is to the left of the TFNation desk. The bar will be selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and also a range of bar snacks.
The Main Hall is where you will find our dealers, weekend registration and main stage. Please pay close attention to signage as different doors shall be in operation at different times.
The Panel Room is located opposite the Main Hall and this will host additional panels throughout the weekend.
The Display Area is further down the main corridor. Here you shall be able to enjoy the Third Party presentations provided by our guests, as well as a special Rock Lords exhibit which showcases the entire line.
The Forge is adjacent to the Main Hall. This will be home to a number of artists and crafters.
Reflector’s Studio sits above The Forge. Here you will find Team Reflector and can take advantage of the services offered.
Club Con is home to the Saturday night show. This can be accessed by heading along the main corridor past the Main Hall and other rooms, and then turning left. Entrance is from the lower portion of the room as per the schematic.
Outside of the Facility you can find the Show Cars, which can easily be accessed via the main entrance/exit. Make sure to check out the multitude of cars available and have your picture taken.
Download this knowledge to your on-board databanks and keep it safe – it will be pivotal to your mission.
